LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE URBANISM ART
 Atrium Garden, New York, NY
Completion Date: 2005 Peter Mauss / ESTO, Photography A small residential garden with a sculptural living wall garden for the 9-foot by 22-foot sky-lit atrium in a adaptively reused historic firehouse. The floor of the garden is made of resilient shredded rubber. The walls are studded with off-the-shelf modern classic ceramic planters suspended in thin custom-designed stainless steel rings. The wall opposite the plantings wall is clad in reflective mirror to create a visual doubling of the tropical garden.
