Analysis and design concepts were prepared for updating furnishings and plantings at historic Rockefeller Center. Design emphasis was placed on respecting the historic design motifs, and brand recognition of the site’s iconic urban campus.  The approach was to edit, adjust and redesign certain elements including planters, seating and outdoor café spaces to bring greater design clarity and consistency to the site.

A program of temporary and seasonal plantings in the Channel Gardens were designed for 2013 and 2014 focusing on using ornamental plantings in stronger and more thematic way to maximize the Channel Garden’s visual, spatial and seasonal impact.
